Hi Starling and everyone else on TowerWatch. I'm still alive and kicking LOL. God has been doing some amazing things in my life and has kept me very busy. I've been out of work for over a year now, and I've found that being a homemaker and stay at home mom takes up way more time than people think. I also lead a women's small group, and teach in children's ministry at our church. I admit I'm also on Facebook, and one of the greatest joys I've had is finding old school friends, many who are now Christians. One girl in particular was a very close friend of mine, a JW. When I found her on Facebook I initially asked the standard questions, how are you, where are you, what have you been up to, etc. About the third communication we had, I told her I was no longer a JW, that I am now a born again Christian and that it has made such a powerful difference in my life. Imagine my joy and excitement when she answered back, "Wow! I'm a born again Christian too!" All the money in the world could not compare with a blessing like that!

I love the TowerWatch website and all the resources it offers. I just have so much on my plate right now I don't get over here as often as I used to. But it's a new year, so I'll make the effort of coming over and checking up. God bless you all, have a wonderful and blessed 2010.

In Christ,

Mrs. R

Hi! so nice to hear from some of you. I rarely post, but check frequently on the forum. Yes things have been very quiet. There is a season for everything. When I was meeting with a JW woman, Kate, all of you were very helpful, and I thank-you all for sharing your struggles and advice. It was a season of great need for many.when things quieted down on this forum, I figured that the season for great need was done (for a season). Perhaps another season of great need will arise again.

It has been about 2 or three years since I met with Kate, But that does not mean I have forgotten about Her! I continue to pray for Her and her agnostic husband, That God would work in thier minds and hearts! I also park at her kingdom Hall and prey that the Holy Spirit will begin to work in the hearts of all that enter there. From your testimonies and struggles, I know this is not a short term thing. As many have told me it can take years!

Please Pray for Kate with me, that God will lead her to trust Jesus only and help her and be with her on her Journey away from the watchtower and into his arms. Think of her often, please!

I am quietly lurking!

Love in Christ,

Lisa
