Glad to hear that Jean's surgery is over and that, by what you have posted, the pain doesn't seem to be as bad as it was the last time.

Give her my best. She is in my thoughts and prayers.

Any updates on Jean? Is she home yet? I know Cal is probably running around taking care of her, but has anyone else heard from him? I hope she's at home already. It seems one gets better faster in familiar surroundings.

God bless,

Mrs. R

Sorry for the delay in getting updates to you. Jean was discharged from the hospital today but did not come home. She is in a rehab/care center and will be there for about a week. Recovery is taking longer this time, I think it is spelled A G E.

Jean is felling well, good apatite etc. she just can't get the motion out of her leg she should be getting at this point.

Thanks again for all your prayers.

A quick update on my wife Jean. Jean is doing well but it looks like she will be at the rehab/care center for about 3 weeks. Sorry that I have not been on the forum much but I have been very busy trying to keep up with life as it is very hectic right now. I am also working on revamping the web site as all of this is going on. I have quite a few new articles, poems etc. to add and will be adding them a few at a time as my schedule permits.

Just thought I'd mention that I am in the process of putting Dan Hall's book Pure Grace on the web site. I have the first 11 chapters on and when I complete the installation I will create a printer friendly page for each chapter so you can print out the chapters you like. If you have not read this book I highly recommend it. You can purchase copies at my cost which is $6.00 each through the book store.

Here is a like to Dan Hall's Book Pure Grace:

Thanks again for all your prayers!

Well Jean is home! One day it looks like she will be there for 3 weeks and the next day we are bringing her home.

We were not at all happy with the service Jean was getting at the convalescent center and felt we could give her better care here at home, besides Jean was getting home sick. So she is home and on the road to recovery.

Thanks again for your prayers.

Chief cook and bottle washer,
Cal

FANTASTIC! JEAN IS HOME!

Great news Cal! They often say people heal better at home. You are so fortunate to have a daughter-nurse too.
Hope she liked the card. :o

You have no idea how much of a help she is! Actually she does more than I do she is a wonderful daughter, Christian and mother! She makes it so easy to be a proud dad! I could not do this without her!

Thank God Jean is home. Even the best convalescent centers are not better than ones own bed in ones own house. I'm sure she'll be much more comfortable now, especially with her loving family pampering her 24/7. What a blessed woman Jean is! I'm sure she'll be out and about in no time.

God bless,

Mrs. R
