Hello to all in the name of Christ Jesus!

This is my first post, so I will give you a little information about myself. I am a Christian, I was never a JW. I have a heart for JW's that can only come from the love of the Lord. I want to be an effective witness to them. I have been familiar with the watchtower teachings for quite some time, but it hasn't been until recently that I have been studying to properly communicate with them.
I now understand that you just can't open up to 1 John 1, or 1 Thes etc. and expect them to suddenly "see the light". I now see how well trained (brainwashed) they are in their answers! However, I digress :smt032 .
I have been reading a book by Wilbur Lingle called "Approaching the JW's in Love" and have learned a lot of "where JW's are coming from"! I have learned NOT to argue doctrine, but LOVINGLY show them that the watchtower is not the channel of communication. Well, I could say a lot , but the most important thing right now is to say "hi" to my fellow brothers and sisters in Jesus here on this board for now :D . May the Lord bless you with His love today. I look forward to our correspondence here in the near future.
