Just a quick note to let all of you know that the TowerWatch web site including this forum is scheduled to be moved to the new IPOWER platform on 2/11/2008,12:00:00AM EST.

This is a process that is being handled by the technicians at IPOWER (our web site hosting company).

I am not sure how long this will take or if our forum will be effected during the process but there is the possibility we will be down for a while.

Once we have been moved to the new platform there will be no visible difference in the web site or on the forum but I will have a few new bells and whistles for the web site and we will have considerably more space.

Thank you for your patience.

One other side note that I thought you folks might be interested in.

As you know the TowerWatch web site and this forum are at "towerwatch .com ". Several people told me that they looked for our site at towerwatch .org since we are a ministry. I have wanted to get the .org and .net address for some time now but both were owned by a watch company.

Last week towerwatch .org and towerwatch .net became available so I purchased both. Now whether folks type in towerwatch.com .org or .net they will land on our web site.

One side benefit is; should our forum get really big I could always move the web site to the .org address and dedicate all of the space here on the .com address to the forum. Not likely to happen but the option is now there for us.

Just thought I'd pass that along.

As LifeAfter said "Upward and Onward!

Well Ipower has completed the switch to the new platform and as I expected it can with some problems. We were not able to post and new folks were not able to register. I think I have the problems solved now. Sorry it took so long but the problems on the forum came at the same time as my new granddaughter - grandchild number 14- so I was just a little distracted.

We should be back to normal on the forum now thank you for your patience!

My wife and I have just been watching a program on tv about a mum who had 4 babies all at once, it was such a miraculous sight to see them 6 months later thriving like crazy. So may we wish yours and you our hearty congratulations and to the granddaughters mum and dad.

Good to have the board back up and running again.
